Giant Capacity and More...

I bought this dryer a few months back and over the years I've had all different brands of washers and dryers but this is my first Maytag. I've been pretty impressed with the various dryer cycles and the ability to save time and money. I have a family of six with 3 of my 4 children in sports it's important that I can dry as big a load as possiable before the game now I also have the matching washer which is pretty awesome it's self too! So I'd say it's the best bang for your buck currently at the big brand stores now and I've been very happy so far I'm able to wash and dry double the size of my previous set and I love the many options

Not as impressed as I imagined

I was very excited to use this machine when I first purchased it. I have had a front-loading washer for nine years. I bought this machine because it had a larger capacity and I was looking forward to less trips to the laundromat for the large items that wouldn't fit in my old machine. I have found that this machine doesn't move the clothing around as much as I hoped to help them rid of stains. I have been having to pretreat, use oxygen booster, and wash items multiple times for soiling. These things I seldom did with my front load machine. I have also noticed when washing my king-sized sheets that some areas are still dry or nearly damp due to the machine not moving them around appropriately. But I do love the load capacity, the overall look of the machine, and the pleasant-sounding tones it gives. I only wished it lived up to my full expectations of laundering.

I bought the washer and that same night I had problems with the water level not being high enough to even cover the load. They put the new computer in it (which was a job alone getting the repair man to do it) and it still doesn't fill, so now I have to do a deep wash and extra rinse only to wait an hour and half to maybe clean clothes

This washer is way over complicated for an easy task. We miss the agitator! Clothes do not come out clean. Takes way too long on cycles - 1.25 hours or more! Added a 1/2 cup of bleach (it says 1 cup or less) for a load of whites. Next load was 2 sets of brand new twin sheets dark brown- they came out with bleach stains all over them. Completely ruined. Sure regret this purchase!

I'm so disappointed with this washing machine. I was so excited to get a Maytag only to learn its the worst machine I've ever owned. It doesn't clean your clothes. It leaves lint residue & white residue on my clothes. I've adjusted all the settings trying different options, and it makes no difference. I've taken clothes out that are not clean & can use a wet cloth to wipe it clean. If it can come off that clean & easy by me wiping it, it should have gotten clean after going through a cycle in the machine. Even has a service guy come out to tell me to play with the settings! Brutal!!!! I want my money back!

Great Purchase So far!

This washing machine has worked just as we were told it would. This is our first washer with no agitator in the middle and our first high efficiency washer. We have been very pleased with how quiet the washer is and how it functions. The clothes come out clean each time and are spun dry. The machine seems well designed and the detergent tray glides seem sturdy enough to handle the constant ins and outs of the tray. Very pleased overall so far.

Won't buy another Maytag.

I've had this washer for over a month. There are certain cycles that don't work, leaving a residue on my clothes. I think it is the fabric softener that doesn't get rinsed out; and I hardly use any softener at all!! The water level doesn't get high enough it seems. I stopped in to the store (HomeSource in Hutchinson, MN) to discuss but the manager wasn't in and its been almost two weeks and still haven't heard back. No customer service for a washer that doesn't clean well.
